Knox Verdict Announced

Amanda Knox and on-off boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito have both received guilty verdicts for the murder of English student Meredith Kercher.

The Leeds University student had been spending a year at Perugia’s university for foreigners where she was found murdered on 2nd November 2007.

Knox has received 26 years for murder and several other offences while Sollecito has received 25 years after two years of trials.

    do you think the message will ever get through to many young people that they have to behave themselves when abroad and the justice system in other countries is not like the american system when in rome …

  2. This Knox trial reminds me why I would never be a lawyer on either side of the system. There is so much room for misjudgment, or egregious error, that it would be difficult to sleep soundly every night.
