Criminal Manchester
Manchester has managed to oust Nottingham from the unenviable spot of most crime-ridden university city outside of London.
Figures released by The Complete University Guide indicate that in terms of burglaries, robberies and violent crime, Manchester comes out worst.
The city, which is host to three universities (University of Manchester, Man. Metropolitan and Salford) is thought to be a cultural centre for creativity.
